Happy Birthday To The Most Beautiful Girl In The World, My Little Cupcake, Riley Jane Stewart.
One year ago, i gave birth (or really they cut her out) to the most amazing little person in the world. The highlight of our lives and our reason to push ourselves further everyday. Riley Jane Stewart the most beautiful little girl in the world. We've watched her grow (faster than i could have ever expected) from the first time she smiled, laughed and held her head up on her own (for the few moments) we were so proud. Now she is Walking, reading her books, playing her piano and taking care of her baby dolls (which she is pretty darn cute doing so) She is such a smart little girl, i can't believe everything that she can do...can you imagine how proud we are now!?
She amazes me and makes me very proud to be her mother. She loves carrying on conversations with anyone that will listen and/or talk back, she is amazing at sharing anything she has whether it be food or toys. She likes to keep things clean. My little pumpkin with run around with a baby wipe and wipe down anything and everything she passes, she washes her baby, cleans mommy's shoes, wipes down the furniture, it is too cute! She loves to Read her books and have you read them to her...AFTER she is done. She can keep a beat to any song that plays (takes after Daddy on that one) She loves to dance and sing to the music. She always has a smile on her face. She can distinguish the difference between her toys. If you call out for to get her books and will go find a book she wants you to read and bring it too you. If you tell her to go get her baby is will hunt that baby down looking in the diaper bag, the play mat and in any other spot the baby might be...if the baby is no where to be found she comes back hands out shrugs her shoulders (loooveee it). Best part is, she has multiple babies, but there is only 1 baby that is worth looking for, she hasn't even touched the others.
She such a girl, a tough girl...just the way her momma wants her. She is the sweetest little lover and would love nothing more in life than just to be in her mommy's arms. When you are sad she will rub or pat your back and kiss you on your head. She gives the sweetest little kisses, the tightest little hugs...she has the biggest heart filled with love for everyone. I couldn't be anymore in love with someone, she truly is the highlight of my life. Waking up to her beautiful smile (even if it is with a kick to the face) is the most amazing thing in the entire world. My heart melts anytime i think about her.
You can't explain to a mother what it is going to be like before they have a kid, there is absolutely no way of explain the emotional roller coaster, the amount of love you find that you have for one person, how strong you can be even at your weakest point.
I love you Riley Jane, i want the best for you in life, and i know you will get it. You are a very determined, bright little girl and you have only experienced life for a year. Follow your heart and know mommy and daddy will always stand behind you. We love you little bug and can't wait to see what is in store for this upcoming year.
i can't believe how amazingly smart, active, playful and loving you are. You make my heart melt over and over again into a big pile of mushy love. I love the way you wrap your arms around my neck look at me with that little grin and give me big girl kisses. I love that you dance to anything that even sounds like music, how you take care of all the other babies (or try really really hard too) how you love your little baby dolls as if there were real babies. I love that you like to play "follow the leader" and stomp stomp as we go around the house. I love my morning snuggles, mid morning snuggles, afternoon snuggles evening snuggles and late night snuggles, if i could grow an extra set of arms so i could snuggle you all the time i would. You are absolutely amazing, and you are such a fast learner. This year went by way to fast...i am so glad i got to enjoy 345 days of this past year (and every second of those days) with you watching you learning and grow... and although the other 15 days i did spend away from you were much needed... i missed you every second i was gone, and was thinking of being with you the entire time. I love you little bug, you truely an amazing little girl, i can't wait to see what this year brings.
You have given me purpose and taught me how to truely love another..(with the help of your wonderful daddy)
