I was determined to do something this weekend. I had an extra day off from school. Weekends actually mean something again...they exsist. Kat and Kevin invited us out to his parents house to enjoy the sun, friends and pool. Riley was so excited she couldnt even wait for us to get ready. After smoothering her with sun tan lotion (and reapplying 15-30 minutes), fighting with her trying to keep her from running to the pool and ultimately drowning herself we all finally made it into the pool. After 5 hours of ultimate pool playtime Riley was pooped. She had an absolute blast. all she wanted to do was "swim". Anytime i would put her at the end of the pool so i could rest my arms, she would jump right back in without warning and without any arms out to catch her. She didnt care. my little fishy LOVES the water! I will be looking into swim lessons for her ASAP. i would like to teach her how to swim before she kills herself. By the way i thought originally that the sun tan lotion had failed me (she looked like she was getting a lot darker than what she did) it actually turned out well. Riley Jane just got a little bit of sun but barely any (thank goodness) she doesnt even have tan lines! Momma/sunscreen=1 Sunburn=0
