Doctor Doctor...gimme some news?

Riley had her Ultrasound, X-ray and VCGU today.
We woke up (way to early in my books) and were at the hospital at 830am, our appointment was at 9am, we waited in the waiting room till about 1030 am, Riley was screaming, she was starving (wasn't allowed to feed her and her last meal was dinner around 8 the night before)...

What a horribly awful thing to watch your baby go through, She screamed throughout the Ultrasound (which obviously didn't hurt her, she was just scared) about 25 minutes of having to restrain my child while she laid on me screaming we were sent back to the waiting room where luckily there was another little boy (21 months old) who was ready and willing to play with Riley.

The tears stops flowing and the smile came back out she was so excited to have another little person to play with, they played and played for a good 45 minutes, and then we were called back for the x-ray and catheter...

Again, i had to hold my child down (3 of us did) so they could insert the catheter and then do the x rays, she screamed and screamed and was not letting down until mommy held her, and it was all better..

RESULTS:
i have only heard back from the ultrasound results, her kidneys are a normal shape and seem to be fine.

1 year check up
so as if she didnt go through enough in one morning, i took her in for her 1 year check up....
she is in the 75 percentile for height and the 10-15 for weight (like her momma...minus the height thing.. i was never tall) She got the Flu shot, Hep A, Chickenpox, Germany Measles and Mumps Shots...The poor kid has so many bandages on her legs (5 but still for little legs that's a lot!...for anyone that is a lot of shots) She is [way] ahead on all her developmental skills! (go Riley)

The Doctors and Nurses were very impressed with what she could say and do, she was just talking up a storm and being silly...

..and of course i had her in the cutest little outfit (all of them are super cute!) so all the nurses came out to see her in her Tutu... making my little social butterfly a little bashful.

Hopefully all doctors appointments are over with for a long while, i am worn out and i am sure Riley Jane is too!
